How you can reach us?

The Genetics is located in the left wing of the "Biozentrum", on the 2nd and 3rd floor. If you have problems to find us please go to the porters desk at main entrance.

...by public transport

When arriving at Munich main train station (Hauptbahnhof) take the subway line 1 or 2 (U1: direction "Mangfallplatz"; U2: direction "Messestadt Ost") and get off at "Sendlinger Tor". At "Sendlinger Tor" switch lines and take the subway line 6 (U6) towards "Klinikum Großhadern" and exit the train at "Klinikum Großhadern". Exit the subway system following the signs for bus line 266 towards "Planegg Bf." and get off this bus at the stop "LMU Martinsried" (timetable for Munich Public Transport).

... by car

Go to Großhadern and take the main road (Würmtalstr.) towards Martinsried. At the forest, turn left into "Am Klopferspitz" and then to the right into "Großhadener Str". There is a car park on the right hand side, where you can leave your car.

... by plane

Get to Munich international airport. If you want to proceed by public transport, take the S-Bahn (S1 or S8) to Marienplatz and change to the subway line U6 towards "Klinikum Großhadern". Exit the train at "Klinikum Großhadern".Exit the subway system following the signs for bus line 266 towards "Planegg Bf." and get off this bus at the stop "LMU Martinsried".

A taxi from the airport to the institute is about 60 Euros.
